For the second year in a row TAG Heuer is the official sponsor of the Kitesurf league, started by Kite Globing, a kitesurf school based at one of the islands's best kite spots, the C Beach Club.

Young Mauritian natives as well as pros like Louka Pitot and Simon Lamusse will compete in this event. The Freestyle discipline is recognized by the Mauritian Yachting Association, meaning the winner will be crowned National Freestyle Champion 2017. The stakes are high for the competing riders in the Freestyle and Race categories, as the Junior Champion will represent Mauritius at the African selection of the Youth Olympic Games which will be held in Buenos Aires next year.

The 2nd edition of the Heritage Southern Peaks Trail 2017 – 02 July
(Past event)

In 2017, Rogers Group launched the Heritage Southern Peaks Trail, the only race of its kind in the South-Southwest region. While the first edition gathered 350 local runners, this year they went global with some international champions participating.

Runners, athletes and families were able to run (jog or walk) in one of four categories: 5km, 10km, 21km, and 42km. The race was a chance to set new goals, challenge oneself, but also discover the untouched nature of the wild south and the Domaine de Bel Ombre.

Whether you participate in these exciting activities or just relax at the white sanded beaches, boredom is not something they know much about here!
